The Mull Museum started in the 1970's as a small summer temporary exhibition. In 1986 the museum moved to its present, permanent home in Columba Buildings on Tobermory's Main Street.

The building was generously gifted to us in a legacy by the Craig sisters, Daisy Craig, Jessie Craig and Ena Sutherland. Jessie Craig was one of our founding members. This has given us the room for archives, library, offices, workroom and storage, as well as the exhibition space.
